Meet the Team
Dr. Tim Henehan – Owner / Veterinarian
Dr. Tim Henehan has dedicated 48 years to veterinary medicine and has proudly served Wards Corner Animal Hospital for nearly five decades as owner and a veterinarian. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton before receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University. Throughout his career, Dr. Henehan has developed a strong interest in clinical medicine and diagnostics, embracing the daily challenges that come with helping animals heal and thrive.
Dr. Henehan especially values the relationships he has built with both clients and team members over the years and finds great fulfillment in seeing difficult cases achieve positive outcomes. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys swimming, tennis, and sports. At home, he shares life with his wife and two poodle mixes, Luke and Lacey.
Dr. Mark Wolfer – Veterinarian
Dr. Wolfer is passionate about delivering thorough, compassionate care to his patients while continuing to develop his skills in complex surgical and emergency cases. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys managing his cattle farm and spending time with his large family.
Caitlyn – Office Manager
Caitlyn has been a part of Wards Corner Animal Hospital for as long as she can remember, growing up around the practice and watching her father help animals and the families who love them. As our Office Manager, she enjoys building relationships with clients, connecting with patients, and helping pets feel their best. Caitlyn has a special soft spot for Chihuahuas and shares her home with Ellie, her Goldendoodle. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Her favorite part of caring for animals is the unconditional love and companionship they bring to our lives every day.
Brian – Office Manager
Brian has a special interest in helping manage and support the treatment of allergies and enjoys connecting with clients from all walks of life. At home, he has two Shih Tzus, Paloma and Olivia, both mill mama rescues. Outside of work, Brian enjoys hiking and biking and has lived on the East Coast, West Coast, and in the Midwest. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is the satisfaction of helping patients who cannot speak for themselves and being part of the continued advancements in animal care.
Kaylee – Veterinary Nurse
Kaylee has been working in veterinary medicine for three years and recently joined our team. She is passionate about caring for a wide variety of animals and finds the most fulfillment in helping pets feel better and get back to their happy, healthy selves.
At home, Kaylee has a 3-year-old dog named Ted. Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting, hiking, and reading. Her love for animals and compassionate approach make her a wonderful part of our team.
Chrissie – Veterinary Nurse
Chrissie is a veterinary nurse with more than 33 years of experience leading clinical, operational, and administrative functions within veterinary medicine. She brings extensive expertise in veterinarian recruitment and retention, shelter medicine, surgical and patient care operations, practice management, and hospital administration, with a strong focus on building efficient, high-performing practice models that drive quality care and sustainable growth.
Throughout her career, Chrissie has been dedicated to developing teams, mentoring future veterinary professionals, and creating impactful student externship programs. She is known for fostering positive, collaborative cultures that support both team success and exceptional client and patient experiences. A passionate advocate for animal welfare, she is actively involved in rescue initiatives and community outreach.
Outside of work, Chrissie enjoys working out, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two boys. Her home is filled with animals, including four dogs, two barn cats, and a sulcata tortoise.
Arianna – Veterinary Nurse
Arianna has been part of the veterinary field for more than seven years and has been a valued member of the Wards Corner Animal Hospital team for four years. As an Assistant and Receptionist, she enjoys the fast-paced nature of veterinary medicine and loves that every day brings something new. Her professional interests include infectious disease, internal medicine, and surgery.
Arianna especially enjoys the family-like atmosphere at Wards Corner and takes pride in building strong relationships with clients and their pets. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, tennis, and reading. At home, she has two pets — Astro, a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix, and Melvin, her orange tabby cat. A fun fact about Arianna: she can draw blood from a fish!
Jarrett - Veterinary Nurse
Jarrett has been working in veterinary medicine for more than 10 years and has been a valued member of the Wards Corner Animal Hospital team for the past two years. As an Approved Veterinary Assistant, he has a special passion for surgery and exotic animal care and enjoys the variety and hands-on nature of veterinary medicine.
Outside of work, Jarrett cares for an impressive variety of animals at home, including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, a pig, a leopard gecko, and a bearded dragon. His experience with both traditional pets and exotics brings a unique perspective and compassion to the care he provides every day.
Cindy – Registered Veterinary Technician
Cindy, RVT, has been dedicated to veterinary medicine for 17 years and has been a valued member of the Wards Corner Animal Hospital team for 13 years. She earned her associate’s degree in applied science in Veterinary Technology and is passionate about helping pets feel better while strengthening the bond between animals and their families. Cindy has special interests in surgery and exotic animal care, particularly reptiles, and enjoys being able to tailor care and recommendations to the unique needs of each client and pet.
At home, Cindy cares for a lively menagerie that includes several cats, a ball python, a kingsnake, and a tegu lizard. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and attending concerts. Having dreamed of a career in veterinary medicine since childhood, Cindy is grateful to be living that dream every day and finds the greatest fulfillment in making a positive difference in the health and well-being of her patients
Sarah – Registered Veterinary Technician
Sarah enjoys the collaborative atmosphere and supportive team at Wards Corner Animal Hospital, where she provides exceptional patient care and client education. At home, she shares her life with three beloved cats—Victoria, Esperanza, and Faith. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, shopping, solving puzzles, and exploring nature trails. Sarah also holds a certification as a Registered Behavior Technician in ABA therapy. Her enthusiasm for learning and her outgoing personality makes her a valued member of the team, and she loves helping pets and their families thrive through quality veterinary care.
Sharon – Client Service Representative
Sharon has dedicated more than 44 years to veterinary medicine and has been a valued member of the Wards Corner Animal Hospital team for the past eight years. As a receptionist, she enjoys helping pet owners and ensuring every client and patient feels welcome and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. Her special place in her heart is for handy-capable and special-needs pets, and she is passionate about advocating for their care and well-being.
Outside of work, Sharon shares her home with many animals, reflecting her lifelong love of them. Her decades of experience, compassion, and commitment to both pets and their families make her an invaluable part of the Wards Corner team.
Alysha – Client Service Representative
Alysha recently joined our team and is excited to begin her journey in veterinary medicine. She loves interacting with both pets and their owners and is passionate about learning all she can to help animals live healthier, happier lives. Alysha hopes to continue her education in the future by pursuing a veterinary technician degree.
At home, Alysha has four cats—Bubbly, Buggy, Tony, and Dolph—who mean the world to her. Outside of work, she enjoys crafty things, especially scrapbooking and making stickers. She’s also a big fan of discovering new TV shows and proudly considers herself a huge Batman fan.
Heather – Client Service Representative
Heather has been a valued member of the Wards Corner Animal Hospital team for over 10 years, bringing a decade of experience in veterinary medicine to her role as a receptionist. She is passionate about helping both pets and their people and especially enjoys meeting the wide variety of animals that come through the door each day. At home, Heather cares for a lively group of pets including dogs, cats, and a rabbit, and she also has a horse named Beauty. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, trail riding, and baking. Having previously owned a pet-sitting business through high school and college, Heather has a deep appreciation for animal care and loves getting to know each pet’s unique personality.
Pat – Client Service Representative
Pat has been a dedicated member of Wards Corner Animal Hospital for 28 years, bringing decades of experience in veterinary medicine to her role as a receptionist. She has a special passion for fostering kittens and helping prepare them for their forever homes. At home, Pat shares her life with five cats—Lucky, Neptune, Leo, Mira, and Lily—who keeps her busy and inspired. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, collecting and exploring new recipes, and spending quality time with her family. With an impressive collection of over 100 cookbooks and magazines, Pat loves experimenting in the kitchen and putting her own creative spin on dishes.
The small office atmosphere provides a home like feel that allows owners and their pets to have a calm comfortable experience.
