Just recently my 16-year-old pal had his last seizure and Wards Corner animal Hospital received us with gentleness, kindness, and compassion as we said goodbye to our Zeke. Hardest thing ever!! This was especially nice since we normally went to Kings and they did not have time for us that day. Thank you to the special team that helped us with this sad time. We appreciated all your support that very long day.

The staff at Ward’s Corner Vet Hospital is absolutely incredible - truly some of the most genuine, compassionate people I’ve ever met in veterinary care. My father-in-law had been looking after a stray Siamese cat before he passed away. The cat’s original owner had died six weeks earlier, leaving it abandoned outdoors. After three days of trying, I was finally able to safely catch the cat and get it into a carrier.

We were only in town from Texas for the funeral and were running out of time. This was our last night to help this poor little cat. We called multiple vets, but everything was either closed, fully booked, or unwilling to squeeze us in. We were turned away again and again until Ward’s Corner.

They immediately told us they would wait for us and literally met us at the door when we arrived. They walked us through every option with such kindness—no pressure, no rushing—just true care. The doctor took the time to talk through the full blood panel I elected for and what was recommended.

Kitty received a full exam, a clean bill of health, vaccines, and the treatments needed to safely bring her indoors with my mother-in-law. Thanks to Ward’s Corner answering the call, this cat now has a second chance at life and a loving home. I am certain she wouldn’t have survived much longer otherwise.

I was very grateful for Dr. Henehan and his staff for seeing my pug on an urgent care emergency visit tonight. I got home from work and could tell my pug was not acting herself. My regular vet was closed for the evening, but Wards Corner Veterinary was able to see her right away.

The staff was very welcoming, informative and patient with the care of my pug. They discovered she had an ear infection and treated her with two medications to help ease her shaking head and itching ear and treat the infection. What could have been a worrisome night has turned into a restful evening. I have my magnet on the fridge 😊 Thank you again! 🐾

Update: They saved my dogs life again. They correctly identified lungworm infection after my vet said it was anxiety. Now he had the right meds he can fight this. These are the best vets you could pray for - they saved Eli's life TWICE in just over a year.

This doctor saved my dog's life. Eli was 9 weeks old and had parvo. I was completely broke. He was in terrible shape and considered having the poor baby put down. But the doctor reassured me they would save him. Three days later I took my puppy home. Eli is now 80lbs and the best dog you could ask for. They even worked with me regarding payments, no other vet would have done this in that manner. I cannot even describe how grateful I am. God bless you, Dr. Henehan!
